Congbul & Budae Jjigae is one of my favourite restaurants in North York. The food is consistently delicious and the owners are the nicest! No matter what you choose, from Congbul to Shabu Shabu, from Budaejjigae to Tteokbokki, you will have no regrets with respect to food quality, portions, and taste of course. On top of that, an owner provides outstanding services with willingness to accommodate any needs if possible. Don’t forget to stir-fry ... rice or noodle after you finish your Congbul because that’s “the” finish you never want to miss. Very delicious and savoury. Staffs are nice! Hand sanitizer and log book is provided at the entrance. Temperature is checked upon seating.

Great food. Quantity is adequate based on the price. If you can’t handle spicy food, don’t even think of trying spicy version. Non spicy version is still spicy. The fried rice on the same pan is great and worth trying. My wife and I felt full when we completed the ... fried rice. One thing is the protein amount is not that much. Overall good. Read more
