We decided to visit here after hearing all the hype around this place and the Jerk Chicken Shawarma.
Honestly I feel it's more hype then anything.
We bought 2 Jerk Chicken Shawarma's with plantain, fries with Jerk Gravy and a ginger beer.
The Shawarma's: first off they forgot to put our plantain in ... the Shawarma's -BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT. When you drive 30 minutes for a meal, get charged $1.50 extra for plantain then don't even get it it becomes a serious disappointment. The coleslaw in the Shawarma's was overpowering and sweet. With a Shawarma like that you want more of a savory taste and this one missed the mark. I feel if it had less coleslaw or instead had rice and peas with Jerk sauce it would take the Shawarma to a whole new level. The amount of meat could be a bit more but the coleslaw was honestly the downfall.
The Fries with Jerk Sauce: the sauce itself was nice. Flavorful, juicy, tasty but the fries reminded me of those they sell at a high school cafeteria. Nothing special. Crispy thou I'll give em that.
The customer service was on point, this one cashier was more then willing to go the extra mile to make me a happy customer and I truly appreciate that.
Not a sit in kind of place just take out but apparently they did open a 2nd location for sit in.
Overall after spending $45 on lunch it totally missed the mark and left me disappointed for the day. Read more

Really poor experience eating here. Ordered two Jerk chicken shawarma wraps with fries and jerk gravy on top. They were very poor quality. The jerk chicken wrap had all the toppings on it and it tasted too sweet. The coleslaw is very poor quality and they use this sweet mayonnaise. ... They even forgot to put on plantain on both of the wraps and they charged us extra for them. Overall it was a soggy wrap that lacked texture and had a very bad flavour balance. You need to add the hot sauce on top. The fries were essentially cafeteria fries that were frozen with jerk sauce on top. mediocre at best. I do not recommend this place, they skip out on quality ingredients. Our total came to $43.12 for a sub par food experience. Read more

The food is delicious here, plenty of options, and make sure you try the hot sauce. Jerk chicken combo is the go-to. Service is good when it's fairly busy but slows down to a halt when there are the usual long lineups.
It is a rare occurrence but, one time, they ... skipped my friends order completely, he went up to the cash a few times and they kept saying it's coming, however order numbers after his kept getting called, when the lady finally took a good look at the receipt, they had realized they messed up and missed an order. We ended up wasting 45 mins with that whole ordeal.
Only standing tables against the wall where the lineup usually is, no space to really eat, this is basically a take out spot. Read more

I tried the popular jerk chicken (breast) poutine there is different options so that's why I specified just check the menu, I must say it lived up to expectations of flavor and enjoyment with crispy fries moist chicken breast that's right moist not dry with the mixture of the gravy ... on top and shredded cheese, hot sauce is nice to me but it's a creeper with the heat giving you a kick in the back of your tongue after tasting the flavor. The service was okay, staff could work on being more welcoming to people as they walk into the establishment to place a order. While waiting for my food to be ready a young lady walked in to get a refund for the food she ordered being polite and quiet about it so make sure to check your order before leaving. Read more

From the moment I walked in, the staff's warmth and friendliness made me feel right at home. Despite the lunch rush, the service was impressively swift. The star of the meal was undoubtedly the jerk shawarma. Bursting with Caribbean flavors, each bite was a delightful blend of spices and tender meat. ... What stood out to me was the attentiveness of the servers. Despite the busy period, they ensured everyone was well taken care of. I'll definitely be returning to explore more of their menu, and I highly recommend it to anyone craving a taste of the Caribbean with a side of excellent service.
Only strange thing is, I didn’t see fries on their menu even though you are able to order it. I know menus are difficult to create with space limitations, but I felt like I wasn’t sure if I was maybe missing out on options because they weren’t put on the menu. Read more
