The chicken balls aren’t even shaped like balls. The place had a stuffy odour and the chicken balls tasted exactly how the place smelled. Not even worth the $6. And they’re cash only. 👎🏽
One of my go-to neighborhood spots since I was a kid. Favorite item is their burgers and fries for about $5. Absolutely delicious! Great go-to spot when I'm feeling a cheap and filling bite!
Learnt the hard way that most of these reviews are fake. I understand the weight of a bad review on a small business but I'm so disappointed with the food I ate today that I had to come here to leave a review. MY LEMON CHICKEN WAS STALE. It had ... the same texture as cooked liver and the batter tasted bitter. The lemon sauce tasted like thick, yellow, watered down orange juice. I order chop suey with lentils and the chicken sat there in the lentils floating in soupy water that tasted like sour broth. Do you really expect people eat this? The experience I had today was no where close to what the other reviews are saying. The food went from your tiny serving container to the bottom of my dustbin. Never again. My review is not to hurt your business but to warn people what they're paying for when they buy the food made here. Extremely disappointed. Read more
My friend recommended this place to me as she has been going there for over 50 years since she was a little girl. She said the people, decor, wall color, stools and counter top are exactly the same for over 50 years; like a time capsule. I was thinking it ... would look very bad. But to my surprise, it just looks dated. For a Chinese food place, my friend recommended me to get a cheeseburger combo! I said WHAT?! Never thought I can get that in a Chinese food place. I was told the price went up from $3.50 to $4.50. We went there out of curiosity and definately want to support local mom & pap shops. We have not tried the Western food there yet but got a Chinese food combo and another dish to go as we can't eat there due to COVID. Food there are ok for cheap eats - not authentic at all. Maybe we will try the burgers next time. Read more
