I had amazing time at “I LIKE SUSHI “ , we went for buffet and the food was amazing specially better than last time I went there . It’s very quiet place which is awesome for dining and the employees are also friendly, I went on weekends and they were closing ... early than their regular time which was bit of odd , overall one of the best sushi place in regina for sure . Used to be a good place but now it is completely horrible. The buffet took almost two hours to receive and we didn't even get all we ordered. All the items were over cooked and/or cold. The size of the crab it looked like it ... should have been thrown back into the ocean. Then the sushi was bland and the wasabi had little to no taste. Food quality has been consistently good However, we were seating by the back wall, which happens to have the washroom on the other side. As a newcomer to sushi, I was pleasantly surprised when I went to I Like Sushi. The sushi itself was good (speaking as someone unaccustomed to sushi aside from the occasional California roll) and I tried nearly one of every kind of sushi on the menu. You order from a ... tablet given to you at the table, something I greatly appreciated because you didn't need to wait for anyone and got to see clear pictures of what you were ordering in advance. Went on a Thursday evening at 6pm, not overly busy. Got seated quickly but drinks were very slow to come, only water, wasn't asked for anything else. The sushi was good, buffet was hit and miss. Rice and noodles were good, the chicken balls were cold and mostly batter. Attention ... from staff was lacking but there, water was refilled after 45 minutes in empty. Not quite sure if it's worth the money but for anybody starving and wanting to try lots of sushi, a decent spot. Read more
