I came here last month with my friends to check out the Radical Stitch exhibit. We were honoured to see the artwork. We could feel the emotions and intentions behind the work throughout the exhibit. Exceptional institution. Lots to see and feel. Loved roaming around the hallways and taking in all the extraordinary artwork surrounding me. Visiting the National Gallery of Canada has been a massive highlight of Ottawa.

It's a beautiful with a lot to see! Perfect date, also after the museum you have a beautiful park just next to it to finish a day perfectly. They have a huge collection of art, we had a chance to hear the artist from one of their temporary collections and explain ... about the creation process. We think parking has a fair price. A brilliant gallery from its architectural excellence and beauty, to its vast collection. We only had one day so we chose the first floor on Indigenous and Canadian art. We were not disappointed and spent a fabulous time learning much about history and art. The staff in the cafeteria where ... we had lunch were so helpful and accommodating.
