Cut was fine but the place is kinda gross inside… the brushes she used were COVERED in hair, combs were sitting in a nasty looking drawer rather than in cleaning solution. Then they don’t allow you to tip using your credit card - you have to go to the back ... and use this sketch af ATM. Overall was not the professional feeling salon I was looking for. Read more

I went to this salon for the first time, with blackened hair and wanted to lighten them up. The man who bleached my hair, apparently the manager, ruined my hair and I am left with broken damaged hair- absolute disaster. They did not refund me or offer a complementary treatment ... to fix the damage. Read more

Very happy first time client! My visit was unplanned, and lucky me, I ended up in the hands of wonderful stylist Melissa. She is thoughtful and very experienced, in my case, with my "struggling" hair situation. I am delighted with the beautiful cut and blow dry, and she took time ... to keep up a running "tutorial" on managing my hair as well! Do not hesitate to book a cut with Melissa. This is a wonderful business! The staff is friendly and talented, who will take the time to listen to your needs, but will also be brave enough to tell you when you want to do something that will not work. The facility is clear, modern, and welcoming. Additionally there is a ... small cafe attached, so you can even have a coffee or a glass of wine while they work. Highly recommended! Read more

First time client. After a comprehensive phone consult with Melissa I came in last week for cut and highlights. I am absolutely astounded with the results. Melissa is a truly gifted artist/stylist who is charming, funny and kind as well. She listened to my ideas/concerns (including budget restraints) then walked ... me through her plan/ideas/vision. I felt seen and heard but also absolutely comfortable and in competent hands. She took A LOT of time with my cut and colour which was appreciated. She was happy to talk when I was in the chair but also just as happy to concentrate on her craft in between my chatty moments. I was so happy with the results and my overall experience I actually cried. I can't say enough good things about my experience at Fernandino with Melissa.
