A fabulous fine dining experience. Great service in a pleasant ambiance free of music. A short balanced menu including vegetarian items. The artichoke and pear soup was exquisite, served with a hazelnut foam. My friend had Irish Point oysters and they tasted fresh from the ocean.

The food was good but unevenly sized. My croque-monsieur was perfect but my wife's shrimps salad had only 3 shrimps in it, which for the price was really not enough, not to mention not enough as a meal. Excellent, friendly service in a warm atmosphere. We ordered several dishes to share - which created some very interesting taste combinations! The chocolate torte was lovely . Loved the in-house carbonated mineral water - try it! Overall a great dining experience for a reasonable price.

Wow, what a restaurant reboot! Had not been to La Petite Ardoise in over 10 years, so simply cannot compare. You should also forgot the old review attached to this place. This not only new, it's great. The weekend brunch is really out of the ordinary. A lot of attention ... to details - the quality and freshness of ingredients is impressive. For dinner, aside from a very well constructed wine list at decent prices, the menu and execution are great. The only "problem" is you'll have to go back to try other things if you're not sharing plates! The veal sweetbreads, the pancakes with shiitake and lardo, the lamb shoulder, the pork belly are all great. Read more
