Fantastic food! My absolutely favorite schnitzel place in KWC!! Schnitzels are always made fresh upon order. Great homemade soups at the salad bar. Chorba is to die for!! Love the tomato and cucumber salad. And edam cheese is an amazing touch (either as breaded cheese appetizer or inside a Tyrolian ... schnitzel). Seriously cannot get enough of this place! Could eat here daily. Read more
Went for dinner. Great schnitzel, perfect portions. Mashed potatoes were great, sauerkraut was cooked deliciously, not just served straight from a jar. Holstein schnitzel was generous on the caviar, and the breaded variety of schnitzel was juicy and tender. Perogies weren't as impressive, but not bad at all. Atmosphere is not ... too fancy, but just classy enough for a date. Place is clean, quiet, and the service is warm. Happy to have found this place, would go back again. Dinner entrees are around ~23, and worth it. Read more
A very solid 4 stars! The location is nice, just off King street with a nice large window bringing in the natural light to open up the dining area. I went right at 12 and was able to score a table instantaneously. Mind you the restaurant can seat max ... 30 at most so if you are planning to go as a group, Make Reservations! Many were turned away as the restaurant fills up quickly. The service is prompt and attentive with water fill ups to clearing the finished plates. The spread is quite nice, limited but as the saying goes, quality over quantity. I am no schnitzel authority but the food was very nice. The lunch buffet consisted of soup - Potato Ham - nice velvety texture and perfect smokiness to start things off Salad bar - potato salad, coleslaw, spring greens mix with a trio of dressings - potato and coleslaw was nice and the spring mix was nicely complimented by the house vinegarette that was very refreshing. The mains consisted of sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, perigee, chicken schnitzel, Vienna Shnitzel, and farmers sausage accompanied by sour cream and forage mushroom gravy - they were all prepared in house and constantly replenished ensuring a nice fresh batch when you walked up for life’s hardest decision... to eat or what to eat... they were all great but I particularly enjoyed the chicken schnitzel with the seasoning, panko crunch and the perfectly fried moist Centre. There was also a small bakery section with rolls and a chocolate fudge cake to end things off. The coffee is also freshly ground per brew ensuring maximum aroma and yumminess. Will definitely make a return trip, only gripe (outside of their control) is there is no onsite parking with only street or paid lot parking. Read more
Best Schnitzel in Town. The place was cozy & had a homey feeling. The schnitzel was nice, thin & very tender. Great food & excellent service at a fair price. Highly recommended.

Totally different from other local schnitzel places, and definitely worth trying this one. A big meaty schnitzel with a light breading and delicate seasoning. They put Caraway seeds in the sauerkraut, which is amazing. Other Hungarian treats like goulash and perogies on the menu.
