In response to your counter dated a week ago let me make myself clear..1. You did not give me free chicken I paid for a breast and you gave me dark meat so you HAD to replace it or give me a refund! Because I do not eat dark meat ... add this is NOT the first time you messed up as you already know. 2. As for the term long belly, for all who speak proper English that means “ I’m greedy”. How am I greedy when all I wanted was for you to replace my full meal instead of you just giving me the chicken breast. I told you I was going to eat the rice bc it was for my dinner that night and at 9pm I wasn’t going to cook a meal because you messed up but you penalized me for eating the rice and just gave me the chicken. I live 1hr away from your establishment and although I work in Brampton I still had to drive 20min each way just pick up a chicken breast, so Let’s not talk about class. 3. As I told you! I would not be coming back to your restaurant because you are just about the bottom line not about your customers as anyone who reads your responses to reviews can see you never take accountability the customer is always wrong in your eyes. I would rather go to Flava Pot where they treat their customers with respect. Last but certainly not the least. You had your own conversation with my daughter, my daughter is an educated 33 yr old who makes up her own mind about her own Affairs and actually decided to post the review first. Found a long piece of hair in my food while chewing it. You can see the strand at the top of the picture. Edit: The business owner is claiming i'm trying to sabotage his business?? I did try calling, i attached the screenshot of my missed call below; no one picked ... up. I picked it up at 7:30, and ate when I got home. It was near your closing time, but I did try to call. This is one of my favourite food places. I have no reason to try and hurt your business. Reacting as if I was writing my review in bad faith for whatever reason makes no sense. I really would love to leave a better review, however the hospitality in this place is crazy.. the first time I considered not coming back due to that.. but the food was really good. But however it takes forever just for the lady up front to take your order.. and ... grab it.. even during the lunch hour.. might I add there was only one other patron ahead of me.. I’ve worked in a Caribbean restaurant so this was shocking. Not to mention her attitude was HORRENDOUS.. for no real reason.. the person at the front sounds like the person responding to any negative comments; here’s some advice.. take some accountability, or don’t respond, it leaves a bad look. It also seems like depending on her attitude.. it’ll dictate on how she portions.. or for that much listen to the order, I drove all the way home to see she gave me the wrong order and it was like a quarter of what is usually dished.. Excellent food, the jerk chicken is mouthwatering and delicious. Pasta salad and rice and peas with the oxtail gravy was perfect. Reasonable portion and price.

My search for a good jerk chicken place is over. This place IS IT! The best!!! I have not eating such good jerk chicken in years. The chicken is fresh, flavourful yet not too spicy juicy and most of all it tastes like it was cooked on fire and has a ... hint of smoke and a bit of char (which is what I have been missing)! The rice and peas was also tasty and tender and oxtail gravy was thick and flavourful. Macaroni and coleslaw are also tasty and fresh. Read more
