Great food and service. We always enjoy the food. This review is about kindness of the kithcen manager, Ben who helped me locate my toddler's missing water bottle. I mistakenly left my toddlers favorite water bottle at the table. I called the store next day to inquire about it. ... He found the bottle for me and left with the front staff for me to pick it up. Ok admittedly I went here for old times sake...waaaaay back in high school we used to go here. To the one on Robson Street. I've never been back since and to be honest, I don't see a reason to go back. Was it awful? No. Did it blow my mind? ... Certainly not. Service was fantastic and attentive. But food wise it was totally mediocre and blah. It felt like everything was from frozen and reheated. I got the Impossible burger and onion rings. It's so hard to explain but it was all lukewarm. The burger was definitely just reheated. It was passably warm inside the burger but just barely. The lettuce and tomato was super fresh though. Onion rings were not made fresh. Fries were super crisp and of course seasoned well. It wasn't bad...but it just wasn't good either. I see no reason to go back. I'll live in the past and remember my good times there 30+ years ago. OMG!! What a HUGE difference!! My server "Carrie"was very polite, attentive to my needs, as in checked my needs frequently but not too much and VERY friendly!! Knowledgeable with the Rewards program with the changes. My "Go-to" burger (Banzai) was actually enjoyable!! I actually will order it again.. The (mens') ... restroom was actually CLEAN an well kept!!! The manager, "Carmen" VERY friendly and on the floor to meet ALL CUSTOMER NEEDS and was helping out the floor staff with expediting meals, cleaning up tables or simply topping of customers drinks!! The atmosphere of the whole restaurant was very inviting and friendly!! Makes you want to actually return on a daily basis!! Hard to believe that this is the same franchise as the one on Maple Ridge, BC!! Complete OPPOSITE experience.. Will DEFINITELY return (to this) location!!!! ...and I got a dessert for my birthday!!!
